Are you a local filmmaker looking to see your short film on the big screen?
Art Happening Bridgewater will be providing some pre-shows for Fresh Air Films 2017. Some Friday from July 7th - August 25th, the feature film shown at Shipyard’s Landing will be preceded by a short film created by a local filmmaker. This will foster a great sense of unity throughout the community, as well as provide an outlet for the South Shore’s filmmakers to present their work to the public.
Rules for submission:
- The film must be suitable for a general family audience.
- The film must be under seven minutes of length.
- The film must have been filmed primarily in Nova Scotia.
- The film must contain no material protected by copyright.
There is no cost for entry, and no prizes to be won. These screenings are entirely for the sake of fun, therefore we strongly encourage people of all age groups, interests, and backgrounds to submit their work. There is no deadline - films will be accepted all throughout the Summer, but films submitted prior to July 7th will be given priority.
A private online viewing link to the short film, as well as a copy of the completed application form, must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration. The application form can be downloaded below and filled out electronically
to be sent.
